Reassurance to Service Users, families and staff members.
We continue to advise all Care Staff on Government Guidelines and that Live Life Well Limited will continue to review procedures on a day to day basis.
Live Life Well Limited have advised that all Staff / Care Staff to continue to carry out the Weekly PCR tests until otherwise notified that this is no longer required.
We still advise staff to notify office / on call if they present any symptoms of the Coronavirus (please note this is for specific symptom of Coronavirus, e.g. not for a common cold).
Care staff with symptoms will not be providing care in the community. Until a negative PCR test result is obtained. Staff with no symptoms will carry out duties as normal, with the following advice to keep the service users and themselves safe: Wash Hands for 20 seconds on Entry to Property Use PPE as guided Use a tissue for coughs/sneezes – if you do not have a tissue, use your sleeve. Wash Hands for 20 seconds on Exit from Property
Will Live Life Well Limited still attend if the service user has symptoms of Coronavirus?
Yes, if the individual receiving care and support has symptoms of Coronavirus, then the risk of transmission will be minimised through safe working procedures, extra PPE procedures/ measure will be put in place.
Live Life Well will assess each Care worker and replace those that may be at risk due to underlying conditions or pregnancy, with an alternative care worker.
Live Life Well are taking daily advice from Government and the Local Authority. (Further information on step 4 Guidance update is stated below).
Live Life Well are adhering to infection control processes, hand washing and isolation of staff with symptoms use of extra PPE.
Please note, during this time there may be some disruption to call times, we will endeavour to keep you informed. Should a critical situation occur, service users and their families will be contacted to discuss any changes.
Processes are coming in place for the start of our paper less care planning. Live feeds of tasks being carried out and medication and visit logs will all be introduced mid - end of April 2017.
